To highlight Booking.com’s sponsorship of the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, Italy, we designed the Booking Sound Lounge, an interactive music-mixing experience paying homage to Eurovision’s long hit-making history. By placing blue spheres (representative of the dot in Booking.com’s name) onto the table, users trigger individual music tracks to build and mix compositions of Eurovision hits through the years. As a stylish backdrop to the experience, we also created generative triptych artwork that responded to the music table, cycling through custom travel destination scenes based on the many countries our featured music groups hailed from. We also added a digital memento, so guests could take a little souvenir with them using a QR code and a simple web app.
